hi im looking at starting a project..... i want to make the e=axe from resiednt evil, im using small pics to try and get measurements, any idea what the best materials would be to use?

I was talking with a guy at work just today about this same project. My thoughts were using a skateboard truck and wheels to make it easier to "drag" around. Possibly wooden dowel rings, spray painted to whatever metal color it is. Even threw around the idea of using one of those plates/pads that car owners have that shoots a shower of sparks when they lower their rear bumper to the ground while driving.
