Republic Commandos

So, when the RC project is over...

how about starting a DARK TROOPER :D ?.
That would be a project I´d sign up for NOW (in addition to the 3 sets of RC armor) ;)

I just thought you all might like to see the latest pics of our armor progress:

Enjoy.

Due to some personal obligations and issues, we are delayed in finishing our helmet details (ie lights and lense) and therefore on taking orders. I hope we will start taking orders for KITS by the 20th and finished helmets within a week or so after that.

Thank you all for your encouragement and patience.

That armor is sweet. Is that Briareos from Appleseed in the background?

any idea when the whole suit will be done for those of us interested in buying a whole deal versus just the helmet?

I hoping for shortly after Dragon*Con (maybe after a couple of weeks after I can start getting suit kits togther.)

Holy cripes on toast. :eek That armor looks awsome. And the helmet is a work of art in both sculpting and casting. I cant wait to see the final product, and am definately intrested in at least a helmet.

I'm making RC Neck Seals. How does the neck opening compare to a run of the mill FX TK chest piece? I want to get the spacing right.

I hate you guys even more every time you post new armor pics :D

I have a question

Would this armor be considered cannon or non-cannon by the 501st

Andrew

From the 501st charter, "FORMAL/CANON - Costumes must be authentic, canon Imperial costumes from the movies or licensed media (games, books, etc.)."

Why is the body armor have that shiny gleam to it but not the helmet? Awesome suit BTW and it is much better than I could've pulled off.

if you take the time to read the thread, you'll see that the armor is vaccuformed plastic, and the helmet is rotocast vinyl ;)

Well thats because, the armor is smooth on smooth ABS and the helmet in the picture is coated with white primer.

I only have so much time for God sakes, I'm working as fast as I can, theres only so much one man can do by himself, I'm up until 2:00 every night... Lol :D
