I love this thread.
Eric's sculpting and casting skills make me want to run away from props making and go hide my head in shame.
This is an awesome project. Glad to see you guys making head way on it.

Ok troops, good news. the Roto-caster will be here in 2 weeks, then we will do a run. That run will give us a price. So at the end of the 3rd week I will post all ordering information on this forum as soon as we set our prices and have the first batch ready to ship. We want to have a reasonable number ready to go before we take orders and money so that people don't have to wait too long, so just about 4 weeks :love The raw armor kit will be big enough to fit some of the larger members of our group. (I'm the biggest at 300+lbs). It will be easily reduced to fit smaller wearers.
We hope the price for the armor will be equivalent to a nice set of A/FX white armor. Depending on our final costs, we may or may not be able to include a helmet at that price. Look for the armor at the end of DC 2006.

For the record I dont even know you guys but i hate you both (in a nice way )
for having a roto caster, I always wanted one but the cost and not having the room
to set it up were two factors in not getting one, So I setteled for the next best thing,
I bought a spray gun for resin and silicone rubber
the spray resin can be used for making a mother mold over the silicone and can also be used
to spray inside the mold to cast a part of what ever you made a mold of.
Super piece of equiptment cannot wait to see the molds and some cast armor
