Replica Beretta Model 1934 pistol as used in ITV shows

Here are a couple of pics taken when test fitting the primed grip plates on the gun to get a "feel" for comfort in the hand. And believe me, it is comfortable.

After spraying the grip plates satin black (which turned out slightly flatter in finish, which was good), I was ready to paint the gun a satin almost gloss finish. The next step will be to do the " P B " letters in the circle on each plate

Thanks for that Starburst. This picture will come in very handy in the future.

Lastly, I gave it a good coat of Satin Black Spray Enamel and let it dry for a couple of days before handling it. I then applied red paint to the selector dot on the left hand side. The last thing I want to do is the raised initials in the circles on the butt plates.

Eerily accurate! Details like the red dot really help sell the illusion that it's the real thing. :thumbsup

Very nicely done.:thumbsup I've never worked with MDF, but the more projects I see done with it, the more tempted I am to do something myself. I've always liked the 34 Beretta. It does feel nice in the hand. I still have an MGC all metal replica that I got in the 1970's from Collectors Armory. I've wanted the real deal for years but when I do run across one at a gun show, it's never at a price I'm willing to pay.
