Removing paint from moon boots

I have these boots for my snowtrooper commander and i need a way to remove the painted " moon boot " on the heel. The vinyl is not marine vinyl so it has little "pits" on the surface. I have been told acetone nail polish remover should work.

Thank you for any advice

I found the solution.....goof off. Put it on a rag and wipe it right off. Use a clean part of the rag every time and its all gone

I used rubbing alcohol to remove the logos from my AT-AT driver boots. I used a seam ripper to take off the logo around the calf. This left some creases that were quite visible, so I stuffed the boots with socks and t-shirts and used a clothes iron to remove the creases. Hope that helps!

Nail varnish remover/Acetone is usually my go to for taking off any kind of decals/printed logos but some fabrics and materials don't react too well to it.
If you use a small amount on a cotton pad though, you should be fine.

I tried the nail polish remover with acetone and it didnt work as well as i was hoping so i used the goof off and dipped it in and wiped it off using a clean part of the rag and dipping it every time it worked great and when i was done i washed the boots off with soap and water

Here is the after pics

Didnt take any of the mess the acetone made cus i was really upset it was not coming off
