Got this in the post and was shocked at the state of the paint!!!
The seller has given me a partial refund to repaint it but swears blind the paint didn't look this bad when he sent it to me.
Anyway , as I don't know what the original paint was made from and I don't know what has caused this 'melting' reaction then I need to totally strip the paint of this mask. I dont think sanding is the way to go.
What is a good reasonably safe stripper for fibreglass?
I have heard good things about nitromors.
