Does anyone knows how to remove patina, i think it should be aluminum black or perma blue, from pewter.
Other than sandpaper and a lot of time?
Thanks

it would probably help a bit more to know what your working on. but no matter whats used a little elbow grease and time will most likely be involved..

I sounded too lazy, haha.
Its a sidkit, i dont mind the elbow grease, but theres a few recesses in the material. I mean, white vinegar removes bluing from steel, some oven cleaner removes anodize from aluminum, is there something for pewter?
Thanks

I've removed patina from carbon steel with some T-cut metal polish and a cloth, have you tried that? I don't know what kind of recesses you're talking about, but a cloth might be able to get into them better than some sandpaper.
