Reevers played Jai alai?

We see a couple of the ball/throwing star things hit the wall as the crew holds out against the Reevers at Mr. Universe's place. I don't remember the "mit" though. It could be in the fight seen with River and we'd never know it from the all movment and contrast lighting in that scene.

There were a few sets of those throwing baskets made for the film. Some of the balls had "spikes", some "glass" some "saw" blades... There is alot left unseen as far as reaver weapons go, alot.
