I would not buy a thing from Reel Art. Quality IS NOT #1 with them.

Glad I found this thread... have been looking at their Spears for a couple days. Are there any high quality replicas out there? Preferably metal...

I bought one of Indy Magnoli's Spear replicas about a year and a half ago:

He did them in limited runs and I'm not sure if he offers them anymore. It's a pretty nice piece and quite hefty (both in weight AND price).

I always liked their version, and had thought about contacting them to see if it would be possible to commission a copy, but I never did get around to it...

I have one of Magnoli's too, but it got broken in shipping and I never fixed it. I also have a plastic one from Bronze Armory that's really nice, but was a bit overpriced. It's a little flexible, like a "stunt" spear.

I'm not sure what Bronze Armory's quality is like and although it looks nice enough its not very accurate.

Other than his gold sleeve being a little on the thick side, Magnoli's is terrific and I would strongly recommend looking into that if you're chasing a spear.
