Redhood cosplay progress

Does anyone have a idea of what kind of weapons would be good and a curate for red hood. And where I can get duel pistol leg hip belt? I'm having a hard time.

You probably won't find the holsters and belt together, but will rather have to purchase them separately. Army surplus stores should have both. Or, if you like, you can check out Strapworks.com and order a custom belt.

Weapons are sort of up to the cosplayer. I would say the 2 pistols are mandatory, with a knife a good addition if you are so inclined. But the rest is up to you. Sort of like Deadpool: you can go with the "less is more" approach and just carry his guns and sword, or deck yourself out with grenades, throwing weapons, knives, etc.

Right on. Does anyone know if there is like a guide to weapons allowed in cosplay conventions. I've thought about adding a couple things. And I'm trying to figure out best material to make the knife

Each convention has their own variation of what's acceptable, and they usually will post their weapons policy on their website.

Awsome. I've been thinking about maybe wood. Or pepreka? Never used it so thought I would give it a try.
You got a knife for your 52 don't you?

I actually use the Tomb Raider pistols for mine. But mine is kind of a Nolan verse style Red Hood. I am making my own jacket to help with hot temperatures. I am also making my own knives based off of the animated film.
Hope this helps.
By the way, great job on the chest armor. Could you by any chance send me a link on how you made it? I would gladly make an offer on the file if need be.

Look around on amazon and search under "left leg holster" and "right leg holster." couple of places will sale both as a set for a decent price.
Hope this helps.

I use plexi-glass and a Dremel to shape it. Most convention will allow most prop weapons, they just ask that you come by a convention representative to get a zip-tie on the pistols or real knives.
As always hope this helps.

Looks awesome, Spidey! I like the sheen on the armor, gives it a realistic look.

And I can definitely see how she might not want boots scuffing those wood floors ;)

Lol yea haha Thanks :) more pics to come how's 54 doin?

My version hasn't been touched in nearly two weeks due to everything else in my life taking up my time. However, this weekend I expect to finish designing my shirt pattern, get the fabric cut and sewing started, bevel/trim my armor, and Plastidip it. By Monday, I should have some decent progress pics to post.

hey. i see you have done an amazing job. i saw something exactly like this on ebay. are you the one selling? if so i would really love to buy the chest and helmet

Actully it's a friend of mine that built it for me. Then asked if he could make and sell them. It was all my designs mixed with his crafting ability
