Just wanted to make sure that it was clear that I know it'll be awhile and that I'm willing to wait.
gotcha. And you'll most likely move up the list quite a bit. There will be others who back out or don't respond. So yeah it definitely won't be two years. I average 1-2 a week depending on my day job. 6-7 months max.

Hey guys! Just a quick update regarding the waiting list. First off, my apologies for any confusion, but I have made the decision to just keep the waiting list open, rather than capping it. At the time, I thought it seemed a good idea because the longer the list got, the longer the people at the bottom would be waiting and I started feeling like I was losing ground because of how "far behind" I was. But almost immediately after capping it, I started receiving messages asking to be alerted when I opened it back up, which almost felt like a waiting list to get on the waiting list LOL! A few people, including my wife, convinced me that just because the list is getting long, it shouldn't make me feel pressured to go faster, and that people are either willing to wait or not. That since I'm not taking money up front, they'll either get one when it's their turn or pass to the next person.
So I apologize for the back and forth but this is all still a work in progress for me and I'm seeing the value of just keeping it open.
I have also been hard at work on my off time developing improved jigs for aligning and placing parts that will hopefully help me speed up my process. I also now have enough of a buffer saved up that I'm able to purchase larger bulk orders of supplies. This should allow me to pick up the pace a bit without sacrificing any quality whatsoever. I continue to strive to make each one better than the last and will not sacrifice quality over speed.
So if you messaged me on etsy, fb, or the RPF wanting to be notified, just chime in and I'll add you to the list.

Halliwax, you have been watching this build for some time now, and I'm getting close to the next , your next, got any cool ideas on a base that looks like it took a hit or two from the Marksman itself, do you think it could be done?
