Recommendationfor BSG base revolver airsoft

I have a BSG blaster kit built up on the revolver. I would like a solid Airsoft base that works either in single action or double action. I have an airsoft that does the air push when I manually cock the hammer and fire, but if I use it in double action it does not engage the air push.

I hope I am making sense, and if anyone has a recommendation, I would appreciate it.

Well the "real" gun is a Taurus revolver if I'm not mistaken.

I cannot remember if it was a Taurus or Colt, but I am wondering about the capabilities of the Airsoft. I want one that does the push of air whether it is used in single action (cocking the hammer) or double action (just pulling the trigger) mode.

Any ideas?

The Marui Python seems to fit OK, so long as you mod it like the must have done the originals... ie. shaved off the sight rail so the top is smooth.

Well, since the base gun is enclosed in a clamshell housing, I'd imagine single action is out of the question; no way to thumb back the hammer, yeno...

However, something like this might work if you want to actually discharge air or whatnot...

Only tricky thing would be working around the grip bottom CO2 ring...

The base gun for the BSG pilot and season 1 is a Smith and Wesson model 10.
