Reality TV Auditions (specifically Bad Girls Club) Tips?

Ok, guys.....have a question for you. My girlfriend has been watching the tv reality show "Bad Girls Club" on Oxygen for a while and there are auditions next Saturday in our area. With the talent here on the board, I thought I would ask what kind of knowledge you could possibly share with her/us for auditioning for these types of shows?

The main things we have discussed is showing confidence and intelligence to an extent. Producers are obviously looking for a little bit of drama at least. She certainly has the looks for TV and is a sorority girl (biggest sorority by numbers on her campus). I know she can make it on this show but thought I'd ask you guys for any suggestions you might have

Aside from my personal opinion that you should ardently discourage her from attempting to get involved with so-called, 'reality' tv...

The thing to bear in mind is that reality isn't actually what they're looking for. They're looking for characters. You can see this in almost every single reality tv show from Survivor to the Bachelor. There's always the 'Good girl', the 'b*tch', the 'smart girl', etc.

If your girl decides that she does want in on this insanity, she needs to choose one of these roles and play it because they'll expect her to have one for the duration of the show anyway. That's one of the main reasons that we hear about 'reality' shows having re-shoots: Someone's not following their 'script'.

Without a doubt, we have already discussed this! I have a film background and I'm already thinking, from a producer standpoint, what I want to see. And she is thinking from an "actress" point of view in terms of what they would like to see as well

Here is a quick pic of her as I'm sure I'll quickly hear that this thread is useless without a pic :lol...
