Real or Fake? Pirates of the Caribbean Disneyland Coin

I just bought this from someone on Ebay, the seller said this "I acquired this coin 15 years ago from an acquaintance who worked on the ride at Disneyland in California. At the time they were replacing some of the ride props, and he kept a few of the coins and gave me one" I just wanted to get everyone's opinion to see if this is real or not. This came from the treasure scene of the ride. You can see some of the glue is still stuck to it with some of the rock still in the glue. The coin measures about 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 and is made out of metal. I haven't been able to find any good pictures of the coins online anywhere. Let me know what you think, thanks!

To be honest it looks like any of the hundreds of lil metal doubloons that can be found in the gifts shops along the eastern coast. I lived near a Blackbeard tourist trap in North Carolina for 14 years and you could see these at every tourist place in a big jar selling them for 25 cents a piece.

Thats not to say that this piece isnt from Disneyland though. Being so cheap and easy to come by someone like Disneyland could buy thousands of these for super cheap to decorate and entire pirates hoard on the ride.

So im not sure if its from the real ride or not, really hard to say. But best of luck, its as valuable to you as you want it to be. :)

Thanks for the info! Its something I wouldn't sell Im a pretty big Disney fan and just wanted to see everyone's thoughts.
