Yeah, Monster's looks more accurate, except the sand inside doesnt look green in the screen cap, but the snakes certainly match more to the real one. the sand looks like too much in the prop you're 'buying' too though. Possible sand was replaced or light filters make it look different.

But the snakes look much more correct on Monster's picture to me.. hope you arent shelling out too much. Though its very possible there were multiples and one is a Hero vs Stunt, etc. Production made vs screen used

Looks like they put it on ebay anyway... against the rules to post the auction, but its totally up there, and now she's saying she cannot prove its Real or not, but that its one of a kind? lol Obviously the one Monster posted exists also. I just noticed she's the one I've seen sell questionable items before too. Still trying to sell that feather as a Rita Skeeter feather. Its gone from 150.00 down to 69.00 though lol

Wolfie, no offense, but I think you're all wrong on that..it's not gouging to sell a unique item on eBay, if that is what the market will bear. And that hourglass is most definitely a unique HP item, and by the the looks of it, nicely made. I've seen much worse command much higher prices than that. Also, the feather she is selling is quite rare also...it is not something you can get anywhere. (no, I have no connection to the person selling these things.) I've been collecting Harry Potter items for a long time, and I have a pretty good idea what's out there. I respecfully disagree with you anyway.

Nah, thats ok! its just that the auction claimed it was real, thats gouging. Less on price and more on misdirection and false information to drive up bids. If she had said its a nice replica, thats one thing. She actually did end up changing her auctions of other things to state she wasnt sure they were real. Including the feathers. I actually got the same feather she was selling , the long tail feather, in lime green, for $15.00, well less than the price she was charging. She's actually dropped for 70.00 to 20.00. So something was weird somewhere!

Exactly.. Be VERY careful with this eBay seller.. Seems to have endless supplies of Vials, feathers etc.. And has now ignored my emails for past 2 months asking about the Mandrake I was promised..

In recent light it appears that seller uses some ambiguity in their auction descriptions. Buyer beware!

Love all the props....and the candy stuff looks great together I've never seen that Owl Nuts box, looks pretty cool!

Oh and those posters, they are huge.. The wanted posters were reduced from the full size I was going to get.. But these are big enough.. If you look at the corners of the posters, they are Wolfe's Galleons holding the paper in place..

The pocket watch was a limited edition made by Fossil watches. There is also a wrist watch version made by SII Marketing. The pocket watch shows up on ebay fairly often and the price varies from $200-700. The wrist watch is rarer to find but there is one on ebay right now with a BIN of $250.


Your collection is looking good Beechy. I love the HP paper bags, hehe. I'm still working on my displays as well. One of these days...
