So glad I caught this thread. Brilliant build, and loving the foam skinning technique. Great proportions. Can't wait to see more, keep it up! :thumbsup
Dude, that is fantastic! Play a bit of 40k now and then and love the Night lords and Conrad Curze. Looking forward to seeing the next update. And that Chaos back pack it is spot on. Well done!
Just unlurking to applaud your efforts here. I have a suit of shoddily-made terminator armor in my basement, and I wish I'd used your technique here for building it. That pack is incredible looking.
I cant fault your choice to go to chaos, but I'm not sure about the Night Lords -- I'd have gone with World Eaters. I mean, who doesn't want a chainaxe?
Hiya, loving the build, looking really good! I've just put together a Mk.7 helmet, my first attempt at using Pepakura, its not too bad considering a first attempt.
Are these Shineys unfolds?? Did you print them off as is, or rescale them?
Great build! Definitely coming together here, looking forward to seeing the final product.
I noticed the PVA Wood glue in an earlier post, is that all you used to seal the foam for painting? Did you do the method of several coats of diluted glue?
Again, i've just found this thread and have spent the past half hour reading through and it's AWESOME! Well done fella! Massive kudos to the build and the thread! Had to laugh at the ever evolving chin beard throughout the thread too Very very well done!
Whats the final height with the suit on and how tall are you normally?
