RE: ANH Vader Lenses

Hi all,

I know the general consensus is that the ANH Vader lenses were Amber in color and not red per se. Think the color of iced tea I believe (though waiting on the results of MVerta's tests).

Where are all the Vaders getting their lenses? Who is supplying them?

Hmmm... I got mine from Lenseman... but I think he dropped off the face of the planet.

Yeah he went out of business ages ago.
Thorsoli has been making lenses for Sarges helmets not sure if he's doing amber ones though.

Thorsoli is gone for the next four months. I think he said he was gonna hammer out some smoked to people who got to him before the 11th of this month.

He was just doing smoked acrylic, though I think he mentioned being able to do some amber ones when he returns from his sea voyage.
