Rare Bttf Marty Mcfly Aiwa HS-PO2MKII walkman "SCORE"

Re: Just scored a rare bttf marty aiwa walkman "Looking for accurate cassette tape"

Not bad to see those stickers printed. :) But you should use just the "silver" Maxell label and the white Van Halen sticker. I drew the black tape behind them for "decoration" purposes only. ;)

I know, but the thing is my maxell tape has golden sticker to the bottom and the one from the movie is all black with maxell silver label on the center. That's why I "made" two (one all black using your "decoration" sticker and one only with the Van Halen sticker)
Used ordinary self adhesive printing paper

Here is some help for your headphone search. The guy from bttfmuseum.com is the buyer of the original player and headphones from screenused.com. And he has a few good pictures on his website.

Great news my aiwa has been fixed and will be working good as new :) It cost me $85 to get the belt replaced which is a common problem with these walkmans.I will have it back to me this Monday and will be posting a video of the walkman working and showing off the details and condition stay tuned.

I was scared out of my mind sending this walkman to a complete stranger but I'm happy everything worked out.Im really excited to get it back.

I have the correct AIWA also, but not in nearly as good condition and I paid top dollar on ebay... He decided to forget to mention the side that had something engraved and then scratched off. Disappointed in condition, but very happy with owning one.
I have not had a chance yet to see if it works.
I am very happy to have found this thread, I was wondering about the van halen tape and the headphones.

... I was wondering about the van halen tape ...

By the way: I bought two of the correct original sealed tapes. It was a strange feeling to open one of them after almost 30 years.

Congrats it really is a cool walkman.

I have almost the exact headphones also.
Issues are, mine have a straight input instead of a 90degree
And mine does not say aiwa but look very very close.
I will post a pic of mine soon.

Sweet find!

Can anybody get a scan (or decent front-on pic) of the door to the Walkman?
This may be sacrilege, but I'm okay with just printing out a decal of it and pasting it on another tape player.
I don't have the kind of money for an original, nor the time I used to to work up a version of it in MSPaint.

Help me, please, you're my only hope! [1]
