My friend Sandy Blaylock created a 3-inch-diameter miniature model of the STAR WARS Millennium Falcon in 1982. Here's a photo of it, with a Star Trek starbase and one of our copyrighted Cargo Ship Delta Seven models. We built 3 different scales of the Delta Seven model for proposed filming.

I've seen tons of drawings of reimagining of the Falcon based on a variety of sources (including McQuarrie's work), but I have never seen one that looked remotely as good as this. It's a thing of beauty. I hope no one rips off your idea, but if they did (and did it well, not crap) I would reluctantly and very guiltily buy one, cull every photo from this thread and make it as close of a replica to yours as I could. I mean that as the highest compliment possible, I don't handle guilt well.

Thanks Joosh, thats a really great compliment, I would love if there was a proper kit of this ship, I'd buy one & I'm sure it would be a lot better than what I've done, but who knows, hopefully this build will get someone thinking....

Well firstly the kit I used was the Revell easy-kit, it's made of a softer styrene than the MPC/ertl kit (which is still quite soft compared to some other brands)....I sniped off as much of the details with a pair of cutters, then shaved off the remainig raied parts with a hobby blade & finally sanded down the hull until smooth,
