RAD (The Movie) Cru Jones Bike Build

It's Finally Finished!!!.........Here is a quick picture, more to comes once I get my better pictures off my Canon 5D

I remember in the mid 80s (when i was learning to ride) the BMX was as important to your school image as shoes and clothes.
 
This really brings back memories, I am so glad you posted this build, which looks FANTASTIC ! I wish I could go back in time and ride the halfpipe again.
 
Thanks Guys! Believe it or not it took me the longest to find the stinkin' pegs lol........This is 100% movie accurate other then the grips being AM'E instead of Mongoose, I have the Mongoose grips but the shade of blue is off and makes it look funny
 
Awesome build. My brother and loved this movie. We and a friend built a track out of an old pond and spent a few summers racing/crashing. Thanks for the memories.
 
I didn't know he had a Mongoose California frame.

I have one still in my parent's garage from when I was a kid!

May need to break it free of storage...
 
Any updates to this build? Pictures of helmet, jerseys, and pants? This is my absolutely favorite movie of all time. Please tell me you have more pictures. :)
