Hi, does anyone know what the shiny metal part behind the rubber bumper is? Has it ever been identified?

I'm slowly collecting the parts for a build, but so far this is the closest something that I've come across:

No idea...is everything else identified?
Pretty much ... I'm not sure about the copper fins part - I've seen such parts made from brass and other metals, but not copper. For my build I'm going with stacked copper washers for it.

The rest is all parts from the Michell turntables on a general control company leaf switch, one gold contact pin and that's about it. There's also a knurled cable connector part behind the shiny part in the movie that is missing on this picture

Yes, I'm aware of the known items, but there are some things I don't recognize. On the 'copper fins', there is a similar finned item on the Hoth scanner antenna but smaller. It looks like stacked washers to me as well b/c it's a bit wonky. I wasn't aware it was copper though.

What is the silver trapezoid part on the side of the switch?

Also, your found part photo is a hydraulic cartridge valve (I worked selling these for almost 30yrs). I'm sure the prop part is not one of these because the larger rings would be there for o-ring seals (as shown on the valve) and that part does not have them. The o-rings are what seal the cartridge in the cavity and separate specific sections of the valve. Similar looking but I wouldn't waste a bunch of time hunting for that.

Looking at it further, it have similar shapes as some of the threepio parts (maybe a leg piston - also used on the Falcon cockpit) and see if any of the profiles look similar.

I believe the part on the hoth scanner is a heat sink for transistors. It is much smaller than this one

Trapezoid parts look scratch made to me. I plan to make mine from a small aluminum bar.

RE hoth scanner, there are visible gaps between the sections and the spacing between the larger diameter sections is not uniform. I'm not sure if you mean they stacked transistor heat sinks but it looks cobbled together when you see it up close.

OK, this is a little offtopic, but since the parts are right next to me - here's a quick picture to check the scale between the 2 parts :

I don't claim this is 100% the correct part for the antenna, but it is the right size compared to the knurled cone that you see on the switch. It is the same part that is on the antenna stacked on top of the heat sink. And you are right they are kind of wonky spaced - it does have some sections that screw into each other :
