He played a lovable, admirable character and continued to be respectable himself and of the character. He was like a science teacher who inspired us to love science and love him as well. There are so few actors or roles who have been able to do that for so many people. To lose him is to realize he cannot be replaced... only succeeded.

Not to capitalize on this or cast a bad light, but if they did an episode of The Big Bang Theory where they showed Sheldon's reaction to Nimoy's death, it would be a completely bittersweet and an utterly tear-jerking episode.

Ok, I didn't think anything would get me as much as re-watching Spock's death/funeral... but these two images did.
It's times like this I really want there to be an afterlife so I can imagine Nimoy and De Kelly reuniting and bantering while sharing a drink with Doohan,

I'm going to be playing Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep to honor him tonight. He played such a wonderful villain in Master Xehanort.

With a sad irony, both the English AND Japanese versions of Kingdom Hearts 3 will have to recast Master Xehanort, as his Japanese voice actor passed away just last month as well.
