R.I.P.D. (Post-release)

Now that is interesting. Check out the Dude, looking all Colonel Sanders like. This story brings to mind that cheesey 80's flick with Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo playing zombie type cops. It was a fun movie, not a great one...but a fun one.

Oh thank GOD! I just remembered the name of that movie (it would have kept me up wondering what it was called)... Dead Heat

Dead Heat huh I'll have to check it out!

The comic was pretty good so if the movie is anything like it, it should be a goody

Dead Heat was the first thing sprang to my mind as well.

That waistcoat they put on Bridges is the mutt's nuts. I must have one.

Looking at this pic again that trigger guard looks a lot like a Blade Runner PKD trigger and trigger guard.

Hope it's good - it's been in development for over 10 years. I believe it was a comic first and was the first comic to be optioned before the first issue hit the stands.

Loooks cool..Dead Heat rocks, lets hope this is good and there's no sparkles and unblemished teens in sight

Check out these irons!

If Jeff Bridges were Wyatt Earp or Doc Holliday....all I can say is SQUEEEEEEEEE

Full trailer to this is scheduled for release with Oblivion next week but will likely be online much before that.

Hmm.. looks to me like a MIB rip off. Not that it's a bad thing, MIB was fantastic. But it clearly has so many riffs from MIB, that it's like they took a MIB script and replaced aliens with dead people.

Yep, it definitely has the MIB vibe.

I haven't read them, so I wonder if the tone of the comics were similar to MIB as well.

I had heard that this story line is inspired by the one shot in 2003 instead of the 4 issue in 2000.

I liked the trailer. It does have a slight men in black feel but with dead folk instead of aliens
