Hey guys!

after much anticipation for the upcoming avengers movie, i decided to start a new. Well basically this thread will include the motorization for the helmet i made before, and hopefully i can help you guys with it. It'll be transferred and integrated to the new helm i bought, But Stef(STEALTH) and i talked about it before, i will also make a tutorial video for it, will be released via HeroTutorials soon.

anyway, pics of the new helm i got from ProjectEarth is fantastic,the details have been well preserved, fits me well, and has enough room for the mechanism i will be showing on the upcoming days...(please bear with me as i'm squeezing work with my hobby, i mean the other way around)

i'm about as tall as steff, 5'6 - 5'7 i presume. Chest was scaled down to 23.00000. Still, a Robo file

hahaha. :lol you made a funny back there. Well i decided the mechanism will be hanging from my back, like a backpack, that will freely move together with the helm, as the previous test i did was a fail for the helmet mobility( i could't turn my head around and even lookup) . As it will be too bulky if i put the motor inside the helmet itself. Currently sanding the back. Hopefully it'll be finished by tomorrow, then tonight will be working on the helmet again. so expect progress pics :thumbsup

hi guys. sorry for the late update. been having a hard time sanding the back and all. Been working on the new helmet hinge design. here's a quick peek.

will install the motor by tomorrow then after that everything should be ready for the tutorial

haha. sorry been busy with work. still here in manila pare, so i would just post the pics once i get home, as the suit was left @ home.

well i guess the hinge design has to wait 'til i'm done with it. I was forced to glue the jaw to the helmet body permanently, as my head was quite big for the helmet, it was disaligned everytime the helmet closed.

really sorry guys. just been busy lately with work and all. Will post the hinge design once i find some free time. :cry

and also, as projectearth noticed, the backplate for the helmet was a fail. paint drip problem.. will sand it off again on my days off.. cheers! :thumbsup

Hey guys. Just tryin' to ressurect this thread. Finally got the time to update it. I'll be attending a con tomorrow and remade the suit, for more mobility. These pics were taken during the test fitting of the suit. I'll take some pics tomorrow of the completed one.

Feedbacks are highly appreciated (NOTE: I forgot to wear my upper undershirt for the suit so might see some skin there.)

Oh yeah I got the helmet motorized. Will post the video of it in action after the con. Wish me luck. :thumbsup
