Quick rainy day project

I had to put my Star Wars Nerf Blaster mod on hold for the weekend thanks to the weather. Not hard to guess.... rain, 90 plus and 100 percent humidity is not conducive to a good paint job.

So I decided to keep this weekend's fun in the Lucasarts franchise and jump back over to Indiana Jones artifacts and make the Nur-ab-sal necklace from the Fate of Atlantis.

The materials needed are four small pieces of sheet styrene and super glue.
Tools are a hobby knife, jeweler's files and a hand drill.

If you hand draw the template, or print mine beforehand, and have an hand operated drill a loss of power has not impact. Just sit on the stairs outside and file away.

The, as yet missing, swirl on the face will be a twist of safety wire.
I plan to try Rustoleum's Hammered Bronze as the base and then layer acrylics and future floor polish for the finished look.

Hope to have a nice pagan artifact to go with my Christian Grail.

Decided to forego the spiral wire idea and carved the swirl out of sheet styrene.

When I was at Lowe's, I could not find Rustoleum Universal in Hammered Bronze so I picked up a can of Copper. Also picked up an oblong black power coated chain that will be painted the same as the pendant for the necklace.
