Quick Question about weight of blasters

Ok, so I sold my MR stormtrooper blaster wanting to build one off a demilled sterling...when and IF I ever get one..

how do they compare in weight??

is one heavier than the other??

I don't know about the MR specifically as I've never held one, but being the owner of a real Sterling E11 I can say that with the scope/counter and weight of the gun itself, everything comes in at about 10lbs. It's not something you'd ever want to "troop" in....I did once...........once.

Really? I had heard the opposite. The MR is really freaking heavy.
