Question For Pep Users

What 3D rendering design program do you use to import into Pepakura Designer? I found Blender and starting to mess around with some designs.

Just curious if there is something better out there but also FREE!!!! Still debating about investing in a Pep license. :confused

I understand that Blender works very well (and is free), but I use Maya since I learned 3D on it. As long as you can export to a filetype Papercraft Designer can read, you can make paper models!

If pepakura models is everything you want to do, I don't see any reason for trying to go further than Blender. It's easy to use and have everything you need. I have tried Google Sketchup and Wings 3D too, but Blender is far better than both of them if you ask me.
