Time to hit the thrift store...do you need just the comforter or can the fabric or sheets be okay as well? comforters tend to get tossed first because of how hard they are to clean.

Haha. I had the whole set, Queen-sized. sheets, pillowcases and comforter cover. I'll look, but I'm quite sure they were donated to the Veteran's Administration.

If I have any of the pieces, are you interested or just in the comforter (actually, I think it was a comforter cover.)
