Project Boar

A while back, I asked Robillicus if i could turn his astounding Boar concept into 3D....I hope I can, at least.  I really like the fact that the design doesn't incorporate the traditional P2 texture, but has a unique texture and paint scheme all it's own.  So, I'll be sculpting latex pieces for the snout/nose and cranium portions of the mask.  These pieces will not be cast as thick as the mask itself so they can be applied and then have the texture match via cabosil application.  The only pieces I have left to sculpt are the four mandible tusks [two for each side].This seems like more than a fun project that I've put off for too long and there's no better time than to start now!

Onto the pics:

I hope to have the pieces molded in the next few days while I wait for pros-aid to arrive.

Okay, so it's been a while since I posted in this thread and I figure it's time for an update.  I'm overall very happy with the outcome, especially the mandibles and how they turned out.  The paint scheme/design the creater had turned out exceptionally well.  There are some personal critques are that the lower mandibles are longer than I would've liked and the final paintjob could've been better.  The blank wasn't fully dry before i applied the gloss finish.

Let me know what you think and thanks for viewing!
