I am watching the Profiles in History Animation Auction and there are a bit more than 200 lots still to go. As of now, the auction total has broken the 1 million dollar mark.

It is good to see Animation art still selling... There was such a drop in that market and the appreciation for it as an art form seemed to plummet. Good to see the respect for such an incredible (and now somewhat lacking) 2-D art form.
