Looking for PDF catalogs of profiles in history

What a valuable resource. Thank you so much for these.

Would you mind if I link to some pages from some of the catalogues in another thread?

Sure, you can link anything you want on the Web Archive...

Does anyone have:
Hollywood Auction 38- December 16, 2009
Auction 14 April 26, 2003
Auction 16 July 31, 2003 (i know the last two auctions were in print so might not be any record online)

Auction 38 was a children's book collection. I only followed props and Hollywood memorabilia for the most part, so I don't have that one...
It's still on LiveAuctioneers though:

So you can see it there. If you don't want to login to see results, you can download the results document here:

The results for 14 and 16 are available, but only with lot numbers:
You'd need the catalog to figure out what each lot number was though...

Thank you! I'm looking for auctions 13, 14 and 16 and it's quite hard given there are no PDF's online. Everyone on here has been really helpful so far, I appreciate everyone uploading the catalogs they have.

I have the printed catalogs for #14 and #16 - are there particular lots that you'd like to have scanned?

Hi both (and anyone else reading this thread)

I was wondering if you ever got to find a PDF copy of Profiles in History Auction 14: The Ultimate Sci-Fi Auction, April 26, 2003.

I'm specifically looking for all the Rick Sternbach listings (#216 to #0299), there's a useful listing of all the lots here, but no photos unfortunately.

Anyone ever find the PDF for this auction? It seems to be missing from the Internet Archive and really hard to track down! Can't even find any physical copies to buy....

Thanks in advance :)

No official pdf's were released of the first 16 catalogs. I might be able to shoot some photos of my copy. Pm me if you want those photos.

Another question!

Anyone know a source for Profiles in History Auction 12: June 12, 2002 – Hollywood Auction 12: “The Bob Justman Star Trek Auction” ?

I have a bunch of those Justman auction catalogs, are you looking for something specific?

No, none at all. There are some scripts and some props from TNG but all from Justman, nothing from Sternbach

Hope it is okay to ask here. Really appreciate the work being done cataloging the auction catalogues, but has anyone saved the pictures that were up on the Profiles in History site while the auctions were happening? They usually had large multi-angle shots during the auction.

I'm looking for the pictures of this particular skull from the - Auction17_Hollywood_Dec 12th, 2003_0083 - catalogue.

Profiles with multi-angle shots? If I remember it correctly they normally had only 1 or 2 photos.

Best bet is to check ha.com, as after the merger they uploaded (many of) the past listing there. Else liveauctioneers, icollector or one of the other platforms may still have the original auctions up, as Profiles used multiple of them.

Maybe this is only from their later auctions, but when the auctions were active, they had 2-4 extra images in high resolution other than the catalogue image(s). Maybe they didn't do that all the way back then? Would still be cool to get higher res versions of those auction catalogue pictures. There's only so much you can zoom in on the uploaded pdf catalogues. I think I made my screen capture the largest it could go before it got too pixelated.
