Princess Kushana armor build - Nausicaa Studio Ghibli

I'll post build pics later. . . my armor and sword and gun (gun not completely finish painted) from AnimeExpo. Daughter is Kushana, to date, my proudest build. I got the leg armor template from armortemplates.com and the shoulder and part of the arm is from Evil Ted Smith.

Most of armor and sword are Sintra, blade of the sword is poplar. lots of Bondo. Paint is Rustoleum rattle cans. Technique was Ready, Fire, Aim.

The costume is fantastic and your daughter does a perfect Princess Kushana scowl !!!! you should do the Princess' cloak and mantle as well. Kudo to you and your daughter !!

Thank you, I did Yupa also, the hat was a complete botch but I was happy with it overall. The Cloak/Mantle/Helmet is on the horizon, I need to up the EVA foam armor skill a bit because it would be impractical with Sintra. I hear voices saying Worbla, Worbla and I think I'm the only person in prop making who hates Worbla. . .I just have to get over that.
