Bump to the top so that it doesn't get lost.

Also, there are some great pieces that are talked about in these 26+ pages, but many of the pics and links no longer work. Can the folks that have posted pieces go back and check to make sure that their pics and links still work and update them if they don't? There's too much good information disappearing even in this short time period.

And, thanks for the update, Tony.

If anyone wants me to host thier images on my "cheap as hell" page, please LMK. I would be happy to do it so this great stuff doesn't get lost. :)

Got my card.  Dang nicest thing I've ever gotten for so close to free.  Another reason this place rocks.

Since I missed the card run (I didn't see the free paper prop thread until a few days ago, believe it or not.), I'm going to try and do it myself. I've satisfactorily printed the card, and the label won't be a problem. My problem right now is the 4" x 7" bag. I've found them online... in quantities of 100 or 1000. Is there someplace I could just buy <10?

:::EDIT:::

I just scaled a pic of the bag, and it *looks* like a 4" x 6"? What's the "right" size for the bag? A "4x7" would be almost twice as long as it is wide, and the bag just doesn't appear that way to me... :confused

Any help is appreciated.

I can get 100 4x7 ziploc bags for less than $4, not including s/h. Now I'm just concerned that 4x7 is the wrong size. :(

i have some more bags on order. I got a sample from an online place. as ssoon as I see that they are right, I can offer them. :)

Thanks, Tony. I'll wait to hear from you instead of ordering 100, then. If they turn out to suit you, let me know and I'll buy a few from you. Either post here, or email me at Fetthunter @ gmail.com.

THANKS. :thumbsup

Here's an adjusted version of my Batman Begins Evidence Label that has all the handwritten parts removed so you can fill in whatever you want.

You'll want to Right click and "save as"

Blank Evidence Label

I forgot to post them here...from the Currency of the 'verse thread:

Treadwell was generous enough to share his fanstastic scans/reworks of two Serenity currency bills, and I'm hosting them on my web space for all to enjoy.

Each file is a roughly 13MB TIF file (usable in Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro and other graphics packages.) Right-click and "Save as" to download:

http://www.farscapeprops.com/bill1final.tif (100)

http://www.farscapeprops.com/bill2final.tif (500)

These print to (what's probably) the correct size at 300DPI. Quite nice indeed, and I'd like to thank Treadwell once again for sharing his work. Good stuff. :)

Great stuff guys. Thanks for sharing.

Does anyone have any printable currency files worked up from the Firefly TV series?

I've got image hosting set up...have for about 3 years, actually, but can't seem to get a permanent link to my site put up here on the board....

http://www.hooverae.com/upload/uploader.php

Pretty self-explanatory, and I haven't deleted a single image since the day the server went live other than to clean up some porn and corrupted files. B)

Has anybody tried to replicate the River/Simon Wanted Poster from the Firefly episode "Objects in Space"?

I saw someone on eBay selling one. It was okay. The pics of River and Simon didn't quite match what was shown on screen, though.

I redrew these for my daughter, so she'd have some interesting cards in her wallet. The Preston HS card can be easly modified to include your own (or someone else's) photo with a minor amount of retouching.

Sized them appropriately, printed them out on card stock, and "laminated" them with some wide packing tape.

Thanks to wackychimp for posting. :)

Thought I'd post a pic of some of the HP paper props I am working on since I posted a few of the items in this thread.

These are prototypes and may still need a few bug's worked out or fonts changed.

For the envelopes I modified one I got for Christmas from work.
It had the correct size and overall shape accept for the scalloped edges.

Accept for one they are off the list on the Lexicon site (off one of the games)
Albus Dumbledore
Morgana (Morgan le Fey)
Laverne de Monimorency
Lord Stoddard Withers
Ethelred the Ever-Ready
Harry Potter
Tresdon Knight (myself :lol )

For most of them I took pix from other sources and modified them.
Taking a body wnd using a diffirent head.
Than looked through the list for a date and name that would fit.
