ya same clan, nothing more... not sure who out there still thinks it IS the same predator, but it has been cleared in many ways by RR and team. they just must not be listening...
 
I know you've been over this guys. These super black predators are from a different clan alright, but I really am not a fan yet of the design. Looks much better with the crown. Still... I'm keeping an open mind.

I don't know how long the trailers have been running now on TV, but I'm watching the UFC finale on spike and during commercial I just saw (for the first time) the PREDATORS trailer! Unfortunately, I only caught the tail end of it; hearing the iconic Predator roar! YES YES YES! While I was typing this the trailer came on again! This time I caught the whole thing, but it was a different trailer! Showed Mr. Black reveal himself from cloak! Also seen was Falconer leaping down to a crouch! I'm sure the new trailers will be available shortly on YouTube!

Yea, I haven't even seen any trailer on TV yet. The one you spoke of seems pretty sweet, I'll keep my eyes open.

My DVR was recording during the finale. So I've tred back to watch the two trailers several times. I recorded it with my camera, but the video isn't all that great. You can still see what's going on though. It's not the worst. I don't know if I can upload it to my YouTube page though. Worried about copyright and violating the terms etc. etc.
 
I wonder if Stan Winston will get a credit "Original Predator design by Stan Winston"
I hope so,...HR Giger does for the Xenomorph

You're right, Plow, Mr. Black and Big Tusk are going entirely outside the pale of accepted Predator behavior!

I love the different design from these new preds. Like with humans not every pred can look alike and that look suits his background
 
Will there be a Making of book for this film like inside the monster shop for AVPR ?
At first i didnt like Mr Black at all but he has started to grow on me now but he does look good with the added crown .
 
The de-cloaking bit is a lot better than that "Jelly Curtain" the previous films used. By far. Though, it's probably at the tail-end of the sequence.
