PREDATORS - MOVIE INFO

Hey guys been lazy here! :D anyone know the effects company that's doing this film? the head in one of the pics looks very P1 instead of the adi heads. I'm glade to hear there's other predator film on the way I have been out of the loop predator wise for a long time just found out today! lol I know I must be living under a rock just been busy with family kids work etc etc. :D

The company that is leading the Predator effects is KNB EFX GROUP they have worked with Robert Rodriguez before which you can see @ their site

I live here in Austin but I don't think I will be heading downtown to see the "sneak". The crowds are always crazy. I will hate to miss it.

Thanks Guan-thwei That's great news! the guys at knb efx are good. and have been at it for years now. I'm glade they are still around. :D

actually, after seeing Vacancy, I got my hopes up a little. I think it was a very well made movie, not your typical generic slasher movie. The characters were believable and acted intelligently, not like the usual cannonfodder, and there were none of the usual stereotypical scenes or plot twists or supposed to be scary moments and what have you that make this genre seem completely retarded.

I really liked it. If Predators is anything like it, it may breathe a little life into this after all.

No problem man I will be meeting Howard Berger, Alec Gillis, and Tom Woodruff Jr. in April and asking them a ton of questions pertaining to Predators.
 
The South by Southwest Film Conference and Festival has announced Austin-based filmmaker Robert Rodriguez and director Nimród Antal will present a first look at the upcoming Predators, at SXSW on March 12, 2010.

The 2010 event will take place March 12 – March 20.

The special presentation of Predators will take place at the Alamo Ritz Theater in downtown Austin, at 10:15pm. Doors open at 9:45pm, and the special event is only open to SXSW Badge-holders on a first-come, first-served basis. An audience Q&A follows the unveiling.
 
Does anybody get Empire film mag? On page 124 there is a feature on danny trejo and it has a pic of a guy with artwork for predators behind him, can someone scan it and enlarge it, I think it looks like concepts for the super black pred

k, so i meant to mention this before but does anyone have any ideas on what is up with the whole deal with the chick at the end you know the whole
"monster within" edwin knowing fear, etc.

any ideas? just not quite sure what that is even leaning towards.
