not sure about "bobble heads" but i'm just glad they don't look all anorexic like those silhouette's had them lookin, thinner, but not "scrawny".Those two on the right look like bobble heads!
Hopefully we get to see some out of the package pictures of the P1 soon, looks like they're going to have variants with different heads.
only issue, besides minor color scheme problems (which i'll fix with the OOP figs) is that black doesn't have enough variation between the size of the spots on his chest, looks pretty bad, i hate to say, but can be fixed moving on...
i am literally out of my seat waiting for opening day! i'm down with every bit of these differences between the two tribes, or "species" if you will, and i can't stop looking at all the pics from the other day! lightened some of them up to get a better look at that mug of BSP and i'm seeing more and more how much for one: his head does match his body, very well after seeing the spot patterns and other features on his head, and two: for those who don't know there was a side note in the script that said "picture a predator gone terribly wrong!" so they certainly meant to make him an almost appalling sonofabitch, (face it, most the world has gotten used to the predators face, no longer scary) but did it in good faith that all us fans would at least eventually get used to it, nothing was by accident, but perhaps he didn't exactly have you suit makers in mind when it comes to the more practical proportions of say the P1. ( regarding the distance between the eyes, new head fitting old bios, etc.) and i don't blame him, there probably won't be a single one of you build a suit of the new preds and stick a "boar" bio on it, you couldn't if you tried.
i'm sure they knew of us and all that goes on around here, but they chose to make something that was more challenging to create, in terms of making your own. i just think if this woulda came out many years ago, without so much time for everyone to decide "what a predator SHOULD look like" then we all might not be so unsure, and just took it as it came.( and please no one say what you would've said 15-18 years ago, cause you don't know) and welcome this a little more. trust me, i am just as accustomed to how preds look as any of you, i didn't get to see em on the big screen way back when, but i have been watching/worshipping the predators design for 20 years and for some reason i can really see how every bit of this came to be, it needed to be.
i've heard many adjectives describing predator faces around here like words i would use to describe my wife! (sexy, beautiful, etc.) when at first we just thought "wow, COOL! ugly, but COOL!" we've grown to admire the hunters features and some wish we HAD THEM! but because we've grown to think of it that way, for most of us at least. sure when i was a kid i used to say " i wish i could be a predator, just without those mandibles! you don't get chicks with a face like that" but nowadays, considering some of the females on here (estelle
i just think we have a lot to look forward to if we can just except that they are a very different race of pred, i mean come on, they experimented on their own DNA! and they embraced their genetic disposition for violence and hunting, even against there own brothers/cousins. if you think about it there really wasn't too many other directions to go, that would be as bold as this. i LOVE IT! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! i do however hope in the next movie, there will be another new, yet more traditional pred introduced to us, but for now and for the sake of some mutated, bad-blood, crazy preds, i am all for it!
P.S. also in the script it kept pushing that "this is not your fathers predator" and that they move, think, and even breath! very differently than others we've met on screen, and i am ready to see what that all means, in every way! BRING IT ON!!!!!! i don't mean to fondle their goodies before i even see it, but DAMN! it's lookin good!
