sorry i kinda just caught that for some reason, "chose not to" had not even considered it, but mainly i guess because of who RR is, and what he does, maybe they just don't expect a 50 dollar mask to look that great considering how much money they knowingly put into there suits i dunno man. the whole "one size fits most" thing is something rubies has to work around too... guess they think the majority of people have enormously large jaw structurethey do not have a say or chose not to, as you rightly say money is money, and thats all they care about, which again is my concern. just gota hope RR and team are as pasionate as they say, although we have heard that before from both Paul Anderson and the Strauss's.
talk is cheap, and of late so are Fox.
BUT i am more hopeful of a good film than AVP and AVP-r put together, but that is down to the cast and team making the film, the predators i am still awaiting to be convinced on
i can see unfortunately/fortunately that this movie is gonna be different from the others (the good ones) because it is done 20 years later with same guy that made sin city (which is AWESOME in my eyes) i know NIMROD has the say too, but i guess it all boils down to whether we can handle these "new age" changes that have been made to the predators, even after this long the speculation, and negativity had finally made it's way in to me on some things as far as design, but overall i am still very optimistic. i'm hoping this can bring an honest to god sequel or two
and only increase the pred world in a good way Totally agree, i hope because of RR standing they stayed out.
not a case of `cost` its a case of quality associated with the film ( see i can add rolling eyes also ) why bother at all if it is going to look ****? i mean the film is a 18? or R rated , so why do a kids one?..... MONEY.

Past films are not a guarantee of a good following film, i mean i loved Star Wars, how did that go when he went back to the same subject matter?
Sin City/Dusk Till Dawn are both great, and i hope RR has more input than NIMROD.
I do not see members comments as NEGATIVITY, just concerns and peoples dislikes on some things we have seen. But for the main i think we are all hopeful and more sure that this will be a great Predator film.
And it would be boring if we ALL thought the same anyway hehe.

UK release date have been brought forward to the 8th July, 1 day BEFORE it hits the US. I cannot say i am convinced yet, but any time around then would be a huge improvement over the 13th August.

Did i told you guys that my friend is the manager at the AMC theater and we watched Ironman 2 a week before the premier. It was 6 of us watching that movie. And cannot wait to watch Predators before anyone else !!! Well dependes if the movie arrive a couple days early, if not iam ******...

Didn't see those 4 pages back, so I'll those to the list...but yeah, it's ridiculous that an American made movie would be shown earlier in another country.
Again, it's absolutely nothing personal against any country. It just doesn't make sense to me.
If it were a U.K. movie, and we got to see it before you, I'd expect you to wonder why the hell it's like that.

Actually it does make sense. Opening weekends are very strategic. While the movie is made in the United States, its market is global. Many movies made in the US never even see the light of day in this country. In the case of Predators, check to see what may be opening that week. Or what has opened just previous ( limiting the number of screens that the film can play on ...for example, Sex in the City 2 may have had to have a full run, freeing up potential screens)

Actually no , i would not be pissed about 24hrs
worldwide release on those 2 days would be great, so all of us here could come back and hopefully rave about what they enjoyed the most
Never said you'd be pissed, but should wonder how another country gets to see it before you.
If not, great. But personally, I'm wondering.
