PREDATORS DVD & Blu Ray Thread

Think I might hold off in buying the predator blu-ray and wait to get the trilogy set. Set look nice....

I picked up the BluRay (and a BluRay player) today. I think it's worth the extra dough for the behind the scenes footage. The deleted scenes were rightfully deleted, but I loved every other bonus feature

For instance, when Mombasa was killed.... I read here and elsewhere that it was a trap in the camp. Turns out he was shot with a projectile that shot pins OUT of his body, into the ground, lifting him up.

Went to Wal-Mart and picked up the 3-disc BD/DVD/Digital Copy set. Now I can rest easy. Watched the motion comics (eh, they were okay), watched the main featurette (awesome), and watched The Chosen. So far, it doesn't have quite as many features as it can, but it definitely has enough. It's around 90% of what I'd like, so that's good.

EDIT: Watched the rest of the features and deleted scenes... "Women pee. Men piss. I unleash." Just enough to remind you RR is producing this .

Recieved my copy of the tripply play edition on Blu Ray from Amazon today. Gotta say...the quality and sound is outstanding, I'm really impressed, it has made me love the movie even more than i did before!

Has anyone found any difference in the UK editions?

if not i take it the play.com one, is the best one to get ?

I got the play.com blu ray steel case edition on saturday morning.
Having not seen it i was impressed but for me nothing comes close to the original film

They're sold out the cover on it is great but theres no differences what so ever with the film or features, it's just the case.

i picked it up yesterday, still working through it, but it looks great on blu, one thing i picked up on is when original pred is strung up, his suit bunches up a lot in the belly, makes it look very suit like, but the suits do look great.
the pred dogs still are a bit lame looking

agreed, the dogs didnt translate on the big screen, and with that 120hz blu ray, it gets even worse. Did anyone else feel like the audio was lacking in this film?
Like when Mr Black starts getting stabbed, it was a very un-eventful moment that seemed unfinished....

The preds still looked great IMHO tho
