Wow I never had put the two together to compare and now I know why I love NECA so much better because they took their time on the sculpting process which makes it for a way better figure.

I spoke to a gal at the another toys r us today and she says the 2 pack is indeed $30.00 not $35.00.

So tomorrow I can bring my receipt in and get a refund for the difference! 

The toys r us that is charging 35  is in Cerritos California across the street for the Brea Mall.

Neca just confirmed they are experimenting on a 'heat vision' Dutch as a possible SDCC '13 exclusive. Trying to figure out the best way to paint at the moment, clear molded figure with paint overtop.

Not sure how that would turn out. You'd need a thermal vision backround or something behind him otherwise he'll just look like a rainbow.

I would say that is not necessarily true Micro Machines did one for their playset Predator line. He doesn't look like a rainbow and I have him as part of my collection.

I know he is not part of my collection YET!!, so that is why I was making that statement. Been having trouble finding him.

Just looking at that pic and he appears to be a good half inch shorter than the Pred.

No not at all! I think its great that they took scale into account. He would have looked a bit silly next to all the 7" Pred's f he was the same height.

The Predatores are 7,8" so Dutch must be around 7"

And not to mention that the cloaked P1 has standard articulation and I think the new articulation makes them taller so the updated P1 figures may tower over him a little more.

I try to avoid the shipping costs whenever possible mainly because I want to pay the flat rate MSRP than MSRP plus more and like you said the tax involved too.

Incidentally, the new Predator 2 pack comes with a thermal background. I had no use for it til now.

The Terminator figures are about 6 inches, so seems right for Dutch to be that height.

Looks like we'll hear something about the trophy wall at Toyfair. They want to make it $50.00 at retail, but it might cost more to make it. Still working that out. It will include the large skull.
