Predator Mask Help

hi good afternooon, i am having a hard time trying to make a predator mask i made one out of pep and bondo it look ok only probelm is its too heavy, i tried making one out of latex and it look really crappy

can anyone shine some light on me

what is the best latex or rubber to use,

The typical way is to sculpt the head in clay, make a stone (ultracal 30 or similar) mold, and cast it in RD407 latex.  There's tons and tons and tons of info already here on the lair, and plenty on YouTube as well.

i watched a few videos, but dint really find out any info on what latex most people used, i casted my mask in regular latex from ((maximum)) and it came out looking ilke a tortilla, ill try the RD407 hopefully itll hold its shape

Rd407 is mask making latex, so there should be no problems there.  What are you cast it in?

i made one just by brush on latex, and another with a mold i made with plaster nut it dint turn out so good since i had lots of air bubbles on the mmask guessing it was the latex

here you can see the difrence  on the lest is the one i did with brush on latex and on  the right is is the other mask i pulled from the  mold it speaks for its self, like i said im guessing its the latex ill give RD407 a try hopefully its hold its shape better
