Working on a Batman costume for Halloween. No specific Batman, just my own interpretation. EVA foam, duct tape, and lots of hot glue and superglue.



Not sure why all the images rotated sideways... sorry about that.

Had to do some modifications to mine, but core work was done before I got it. Batman Returns accurate mechanical abs. Cape expands 10.5 feet. Think I'm gonna pull it from this current setup and lay it on a skin suit or thin neoprene wet. Very movie accurate.

So many awesome costumes...I have a question for everyone...

how do you attach your capes? I recently made a batman costume and purchased a fake leather cape, it's quite weighty and holds together with 2 cotton straps at the neck, but because of the weight it slides down my back and chokes me any solutions?
