hi there...

i have always been a popeye fan, having a one working eye and all , i decided i wanted a popeye costume for awhile now.

i saw this pic and was like the heavens parted and said this costume must be done!! now of course i am going to use the traditional cartoon clothes for my semi-realistic popeye...

here is the face prosthetics. i plan to do this out of foam latex...

i have since resculpted the chin...but this pretty close to what it looks like...

here is the forearms...the will have punched hair and tattoos , the best one is the HOLD FAST on the knuckles.

Since seeing that Popeye image a few months back I wondered who'd give it a go first. Glad you're doing it because all your work is always so much fun to see unfold.
Everything looks great...just wondering if the forearms should be even more exaggerated? Hard to tell from your pics...the wrists and hands sure look the part though. Either way, like everything else you do...you'll nail this one too.

compared to my arms the arm sculpts are huge.....now i have to work on my popeye voice........

my wife has agreed to be my olive and i sculpted her a more olive like nose......
