Got mine as well. Seems to have been packed a little tight and warped into that position. Also got a pretty good crack in the helmet section. Hopefully it doesn't spread and the visor will cover it... Otherwise looks alright.

Do you have a pic of the crack? Fixable with some epoxy, perhaps?

That's the plan. I do have a picture of the crack but I'm not sure I want to post it to the thread. I don't want to put negativity toward reel and rocketeer. It should be ok with a repair though. If I get any further issue I will post though. Working on clean up as we speak.

Yeah. Good point. Very excited to get mine. The kit looks wonderful. I assume the visor housing is flexible and can be stretched to fit the helmet?

Yea very flexible. Seems to be made of a thin lexan which will need to be cut out.

Why would you not contact me off the boards about this???? Why post in the thread.
If if there's a crack then the shipping company threw it around so it would need to go through insurance. I have shipping 100's of props with no problems. Seems like the last few months have been bad for damages. Nothing to do with my packing...how do you get tight packing job with styrofoam peanuts?
