This is my first post here (in fact, I've just joined the forum today!)
My name is Jose, I'm from Argentina and I'm a huge Star Wars fan.
Years ago, I bought a plastic Airsoft Mauser, so I started to modify it to make it a Han Solo DL-44 blaster, especifically the TESB version (my favourite).
At first, it was all plastic, as you can see here:
Until I became friend of a guy who made me this:
an aluminum-machined flash supressor. The blaster became to look pretty cool with it:
Then I had to add details to the Mauser, because it lacks of them. I used plastic sheets:
Then I removed the fake selector switch, and fill the hole with plastic:
Once again, sheet of plastic for details:
Long story short: I bought an aluminum-machined "piston halves", and another friend filled, sanded, primed and painted the whole blaster:
