Pirates POTC props and artifacts FINALLY on display! PIC HEAVY

I finally got about 1/8th of my POTC props and artifacts on display. The rest still sits in boxes or in varying stages of construction! Movie posters and NECA figures are next.

Here is what I have so far set up on my shelf and my Ikea Detolf glass display case. I have two more display cases coming.

A wee bit sparse right now because I have two props I am finishing up for display. One will hopefully be seen in POTC 4 and is a partial map! The heart on the left will soon have 1/2 of a sword blade in it and the heart on the right will soon be in the J-O-D but won't fit in the display!

No. Most stuff is prop replicas made by me or the licensed Master Replica stuff (DMC, Hot Toy, etc.)

Where'd the model Pearl come from? I've been looking for one for ages.

Ha ha! The Black Pearl was purchased in Las Vegas at the FAO Schwartz store (May The Schwartz Be Wid You!) in one of the hotels. It was on massive CLEARANCE and I bought it for $25.00! The first came out and were around $300.00. The starboard side anchor is missing but I plan on making a new one PLUS I am going to extend the bloody masts. This was built off of the actual Pearl and not the CGI version.

I am almost finished with my Voodoo doll Jack but there is no room on the DMC shelf...... :confused

The second and third DeTolfs are going to be overflow Pirates stuff plus Indy and Mad Hatter (teapot, pocket watch, Drink Me bottles, Eat Me cakes, and my favorite....The Oraculum! I am having the images printed on canvas and that is going to be rolled up on two different rolls! More to come on that in another thread!:love

And thanks for the compliments. This display has been four years in the making and FINALLY is able to be properly displayed in the family / movie room!

I remember that the Pearl was offered on ebay in 2 different sizes. I want to purchase one, but now I think they are all gone...

Looks like a fun collection to display! That would look neat next to a similar display done up Indiana Jones style!
I wanted to know how you felt about the Dead Man's Chest replica? I have been wanting that for a few years now, but always seem to put off buying it because I never really got to see many pictures that were not the stock photos Master Replicas released....

Yes the Pearl is rather tall so she does sit At Shelves End but thank goodness for Museum Putty!!!
