Has ANYONE who's making an Angelica costume found the right paisley? I've looked, and looked, and looked and haven't found anything that I want to use. :(

still on the hunt...i think we're going to have to settle. :( right now i'm mainly looking for something that'll simply look nice and complimentary with the maroon back and with that specification, i have a few options. :)

I'm thinking find a material that has close enough paisley, cut them out and HeatNBond them to the black material. They are arranged so that each row has the "hooked tail" part going up in one row than down in the next row. That shouldn't be too hard to replicate!

Well some hi-res pictures came back and here are two of the mystery wig items blown up a few hundred percent...

The first is a monkey skull coin? and is that an ichthus on the left side? weird...

The coin could be found.. its a coin, a trinket, a necklace pendant etc - but WHAT is that second thing? It almost looks like the break pad on an a 10 speed bike.

I spent the entire day LOOKING at fabric at a warehouse store in the city, and again NOTHING!! (that goes for Jack vest print also!)
For my Angelica waistcoat, I really don't want to go "close enough" but at this point I think I may have to. :(

About a billion years late.....can anyone tell me a reliable source where I can get the ebony raffia that's used for Jacks coat if it's available at the moment? I've seen it pop up here...just wondering where everyone else got theirs?

My little Scottish friend says this looks like a Tassel Cap, maybe from a sporran, maybe military???

Here is a grab I made from a site that sold tassels for flags....
Stupid site crashed and locked up on me.....
But this sure looks a lot like the little silver thing in Jack's wig, except in gold here....
And those red bits could be the remains of a tassel...??
