Hi all,
I have lurking this site for a while, building my tools and knowledge of pepping. I am tackling an Iron Man Mark III glove and gauntlet to make a Tony Stark costume.
Due to time restrictions, I am making the upper and lower forearms out of foam. I would however like to use card stock/resin for the palm and finger bits of the glove.
I have watched so many tutorials online and read through tons of posts here and at the 501st. I am also using Darkside501st's post and build as a reference. Seen here http://www.therpf.com/f24/darkside501sts-iron-man-tony-stark-gauntlet-arc-ractor-project-131124/
Looking at the tutorials and his build, I was wondering if when you do the individual finger joints, you resin the outside and then fiberglass and resin the inside? Or do most of you just resin the inside and outside? I cannot tell fro many of the builds I have seen if the the finger joints get fiber-glassed as well.
Looking Darkside's build, I am digging the thickness it looks like he achieved, which is my goal.
Thanks guys, I am looking forward to sticking around and contributing.
