Pepper Potts Rescue build, 10/15 full suit pics added

At some point I must confess I came to think that nobody would ever make this Rescue suit real...
But you did ! ^^
... and such a clean build. Thank you ;)

Hey you saved me A LOT of work on this one :) Now we just have to get a good Sneaky suit built :lol

Impeccably clean build :thumbsup

Now we'll have to wait and see if it'll resurface all painted up and worn.

Hey Laellee you gota redo that pic once the suit is finished with paint. I think it would make a great wallpaper lol. Awesome work once again...GM

this is awesome!!!
Thanks! I put together that measurement list for you as well, just have to get it in a sendable format :thumbsup

Me too, heck I'd be happy if I had somebody here that would fit in it right now to see it move :) Thanks!

crazy amazing work man

Thank you!

Could it be a soft way to say that in fact many nonsenses remain ?

Well I'm not sure, I didn't see how the files started. :lol It was meant as a compliment :) I end up using more of the original peps I think than most people include in the foam unfolds, but you keep include practically everything I need :thumbsup

Thanks GM, I really want to see this finished too. If I understand correctly, it's going to a boyfriend-girlfriend duo slated for this Halloween. Hopefully that means we'll see some color on it within a week or so. :thumbsup

:facepalm

anyway. .. great job on this laellee. .

and that look on bender's face. . .:lol

I still can't believe I didn't notice that. :lol And by the time GM pointed it out, I'd already 'disassembled' it :wacko

Thanks guys, all the feedback just kicks me up more to start another build ASAP. I should probably start my own Halloween costume pretty soon v:facepalm

DUDE. STOP FLOODING MY THREAD WITH YOUR POSTS.

You are a brand new member, and you have used all 9 of your fist posts to clutter my thread with comments that do not even reference the thread AT ALL. And now you've sent me a PM with a vague subject line about helmet pics and NO CONTENT.

You need to learn how to use the forum properly. Look around, use the search function, try the Pepakura Question thread posted at the top of the Replica Movie Prop forum. Just stop posting here.

**** EDIT***
In the time it took me to get this up, you've posted 4 more times. Awesome. Perhaps you are new to this forum (or forums in general), you need to learn how to use them properly. Read the above, and do not post in my thread anymore or you will be reported to mods. Have a great day. :thumbsup

***Quick second edit.... YAY!!! Now 15 posts. Least he got the pics to work I guess***

I liked the way you fixed the reactor problem. A tiny one wouldn't be inline with the suit imo. Nice job m8!!!

Thank you. The original chest design really suited (no pun intended) the small reactor actually, but I didn't want to leave the guy buying this stuck looking for a 1 1/2" reactor. I was worried a full-size might look too crazy, but I think it worked, feels a little Heartbreaker too me. Thanks again!

Lovely work:thumbsup

Thanks!

Looks amazing! Really like the boots. Is that a typical design for the boots or custom?

Thank you, the very front toe section (the cloven 'hoof' lol) is from the original model, the rest I freehanded. The original pep looks amazing, but it's also fairly narrow and heeled a bit. Since the wearer will have shoes on inside these boots, the original pep would have been quite a bit bigger and goofed up proportions. What I would like to see, is someone build the original pep boots for someone who will wear them as shoes. The foam matting would lend itself to this for cushion, and then the original dimensions could be kept. IMHO sexy IronLadyBoots lol.

I'll have to admit, the only reason I haven't bothered to make it yet is because I've been hoping full, normal-pep files would be uploaded (rather than foam files) ;u;

Re: Pepper Potts Rescue build

WOAH RED, BREATHE!!! My girlfriend would be happy that you responded so hardcore, but she and I already have enough stuff to fight about :)

I (and she) was not busting down 'logic with published studies' at all. I agree with what you said, OK? Good enough?

Mikey (my girlfriend) has 38DDs, and she only liked the look of the armor because perhaps it would add support for her breasts. As her measurements suggest, she can't fit in this armor :)

Are sports bras better? Of course they are. But I'm not being paid to build a Pepper Potts rescue suit with no boobies. Otherwise they'd have just commissioned an Extremis I think.

Anyways, no hard feelings I hope, OK? No harm, no foul, I hope.

Hehe, the correctly-fitting-bra enthusiast inside me says that your girlfriend is probably wrongly sized! :p 38DD isn't big at all in the bust, totally recommend your girlfriend sizes herself. Good place to start: http://i.imgur.com/tgrX4zO.png

The build looks amazing though so far--seriously. It's pretty great. :D

Well, I use craftrobo to cut out everything since I'm a lazy person, so I really just enjoy regular files due to it LOL ; 3;
