Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

Cool Droid. Hope you can get it all to work right.
Also, I just got Frank's package with the new handlebar streamers and the nos shimano shifter! Great condition and for a great price! Thanks Frank! :D

Yeah I saw the post! It's a lovely piece! And I'm going later to get the screw and bolt for it. I also tested out the streamers on another of my cruisers, and it's a fun ride! :)

Well guys....with the exception of adding a PROPERTY OF PEE WEE HERMAN plate, and my sound board, my bike is 100% done. Tomorrow I'm having a professional photo shoot done and a couple of days after that I'll post pictures.

It's kind of sad in a way. I've been working on this bike for like 15-16 months now, and it's been about the most consuming project I've ever done. Thankfully I'll still be making parts, so that will keep me happy and in Pee-wee mode for a while.

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who have been such a big help on this project.

Gregg

That is awesome man! Think of all the extra time you will have!!! :) You do make some rad parts! I am going to try to get my tiger siren from you together this next week. I'll throw up some pics!

One of my buddies has this in his swap meet parts box! He said I can have it for Freeeeeee! In going to try and restore it.

That's a cool video, but it's maddening that he doesn't tell you where they are located. I've been to most of the obvious ones, my favorites are probably the Mission San Fernando and Third Street Promenade (which barely resembles the movie anymore). I'm curious to know where the park shots and biker bar were.

Thanks for the park info, I hadn't seen that anywhere yet. Most sites point to that same cafe for the biker bar, but alas it's not right. The guys in this video have it right though. I see it's address 1752x, ends with "Market", and looks Mexican/Spanish.

Being a native Texan, I get a kick out of the ridiculous stereotyping we get in this movie (although I think most of us would sing 'Deep in the Heart of Texas' given a chance) .. ;)

Lookin' good Frank, it gets the job done and it's cost effective, and the only people that would give it a second glance are those on this thread, I took my nephew's bike to a car show this past weekend and someone actually asked me why the mirrors didn't match!

I like all your picture backdrops too, all the carnage of worn tools and parts scattered around with the finished piece front and center, you really work up a storm!

So after getting a quote for my sand blast, I found that it was REALLY expensive. About $150 for the frame alone. So I got to work on sanding the frame myself. It's coming along well and I expect to finish by Thursday/Friday, and I'll be doing a rattlecan job with clear coat.

Bought this before I joined theRPF did anyone on here make it? There's a red light that flashes where the delta light is.
