Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

Hobby grade CA, I think. Wait, come to think of it, I used automotive double sided tape. Thats the stuff they use for car badges and trim. Super strong and thin.

Frank, you made a pulley? Are you planning to make the siren functional?

Thanks Billy!

Ryan- nah it will be just a prop.

Gregg- wasn't thinking offering them but if I have to make one then I could make a few depending on price. Just waiting to see how another members plate turns out, might just buy it from him.

Keep me posted. It's the only part I still need. Bags are being painted tonight!!

I can't wait to see your bags finished! I am hoping to have some plates done this week. We will see how they turn out. Man.... Everyone is really knocking things out lately!

Exciting times indeed. Glad to see so much work getting done. I've also been working on my bikes for the last couple days, specifically the sirens (thanks Gregg).

The X1 is of course getting the tiger siren treatment, while the X2 is getting the skeleton siren.

Had to do some deconstruction of the original skeleton siren since it had the smaller housing originally & it was also green. Since the X2 is black & white, I wanted to eliminate the green altogether, & it helps to have the larger housing as well. It's particularly cool that it is an original siren, as the eyes light up & the bubble will be illuminated. When it is completely finished I'll take some video of it in action.

Some pics of both in progress so far:

First, the X2 siren...

Josh those look great! I'm so glad you're happy with them. I just ordered more super sirens to put together another one. I love how the skull looks!

So I had a little progress done on my bags last night :)

I am stoked beyond all stokiness. They are just about as perfect as I could hope for. I can't wait to get them back so I can assemble them and put them on my bike!

Thanks. Yeah the chrome was sanded to 1000 and cleaned the masked off. He was going to hand pin stripe the chrome but he ended up shooting it with the body. Then once it was all done it got a new layer or two of clear all over.

That is a good idea that way the stripe matches perfect and it is under clear so it's not going anywhere! May steal that idea! [emoji6]

Yup, the bags look as good as I had hoped. The stripes on the chrome being painted look ridiculous. So nice. They hit it out of the park on the job.

Nice Gregg. Are you going to be doing the ejector seat sound? Also you should take some video of it in action! It'll be awesome to see it working once you got it installed. :)

D....I'm not sure what I'm going to go with. I've loaded up the sound board with what you sent me, and now I have to see how that works with the buttons on the bike. Either way I think it will be awesome!
